WiFI VoIP Solution

The WiFi VoIP Hotspot solution is a PABX system which utilize WiFi technology and SIP between the wireless handphone and the server. The required components to set up this kind of network consist of:

SIP Server
Wireless AP
WiFi Phone
LAN Switch
Modem

The Server is just a normal PC with a SIP software run on UNIX. This server has dual Ethernet port which each port connect to LAN switch and Modem through UTP cable. This modem is connected to ADSL which is provided by the telecom operator. The user also need to subscribe to ISP example such as Streamyx with TMNet in order for the user to make VoIP calls to PSTN, Mobile and International.

This solution is very useful in reducing the telephone bills up to ten times (depend on ISP) from the normal call charges through PSTN provided by telecom operators. The phone user of the same group assigned in the server is able to make a free call at any hotspot (open) all over the world when they call each other.
This solution is suitable to be implemented by large cooperate companies which are having branches throughout the country and overseas.
