Iron Pole

Iron Pole

Iron poles are widely used by Network Operator as supporting infrastructures in extending cables from telephone exchanges to user premises. Pole is made from various diameters of steel pipes. The steel pipes were joined together by press fitted outside to the next smaller pipe and fully welded circularly. The lightning spike is welded at top portion of pole. The planting position is mark at the bottom section of pole to indicate planting dimension.

To protect the pole from corrosion, application of primer and protective coating is applied. Final coating for the pole is dark grey. The coating type is Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) which reflects UV light, protecting steel from corrosion and gives the coating an attractive sparkle.

The iron pole comes with two dimension, the 6.7 meter and 7.6 meter.
