1981      Awarded the SPC Switching Contract - Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TMB)
             To handle the new responsibility, Pernas NEC (Kedah) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in the following year.

1987      Awarded the Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) contract

1990's

1990      PERNEC was appointed Distributor by the Stratus Computer Inc. USA. It saw the company's
             new venture into the Fault Tolerant Computing market
             Established a tie up with Landis and Gyr of Switzerland to run the Optical
             Prepaid Card Payphones business

1992      Awarded a Switching Contract of 800,000 lines and Digital Multiplexer for a period of 5 years

1993      Awarded 4 contract by Telekom Malaysia Berhad, namely the Digital Radio MultiAccess
             Subsciber System, Digital Cross-Connect System, Integrated Services Digital Network
             and Advanced Intelligent Network, all of which formed the foundation of Malaysia's
             advanced telecommunications network for Video Teleconferencing, Televoting,
             Wide Area Centrex and Universal Personal Number

1994      Awarded the contract to supply Telephone Exchanges - Time Telecom

1995      Awarded SDH Fiber Network - Celcom Timur (Sarawak) Time Telecommunications Sdn Bhd

1996      Awarded Integrated Banking system - Affin Bank Berhad

1997      Changed its name to Pernec Corporation Berhad to reflect its new status for listing
             as a public company

1998      Awarded Switching contract - Ghana Telecom

1999      Awarded switching contract -Soltelgui, Guinea
             Awarded Prepaid Mobile Contract - Celcom

2000's

2000      Awarded SDH Microwave - Telekom Malaysia Berhad 
             Awarded Mobile Prepaid Card Contract - TM Cellular
             Extension of Celcom MPC contract to 1 million Sub

2001      Extension of DLC Contract - Telekom Malaysia Berhad
             Awarded the ISO 9002:1994 Certification on the 15th June 2001
             Awarded SDH contract - Ghana

2002      Awarded Optical Fibre Cable System Project - Telekom Malaysia Berhad
